Leave your watch in your travel bag. The best part of this week is that you have ample time to do absolutely nothing. Kick back in your sling chair with your favorite chilled beverage, dig your toes into the powdery white sands, and wait … for the magic of Santa Rosa Island to capture you. Watch your children as they build sand castles, net tiny sea creatures, dodge the rolling surf, and squeal in delight as the sandpipers dare them to “catch us if you can”. Bait your surf rig and catch a pompano for the grill or just stroll along the water’s edge, but remember to pause occasionally and watch. Sea turtles, porpoises, mantas, heron, pelicans and hundreds of Mother Nature’s fowl make this protected sanctuary their home. This is what memories are made of.

When the urge to mingle becomes irresistible, walk the recreation path or catch the island Trolley to boardwalk shops, fine restaurants, nightclubs, charter fishing, and an assortment of action beach rentals. Just over the bridge is the delightful Zoo at Gulf Breeze and ten minutes further the City of Pensacola offers more fine dining, shopping, art galleries, and historical sites to explore. If golf is your passion there are nine challenging courses nearby to test your game. Don’t miss the National Museum of Naval Aviation at Pensacola Naval Air Station. It may be your most pleasant surprise.

Laundry: Spacious full laundry room just off kitchen; front load washer/dryer, laundry sink, storage cabinetry.

Entertainment:  Direct TV Satellite service, 42" flat screen HD TV in Living room, 26" Flat screen in master, aditional TV's in other bedrooms.  DVD / CD player.
