PERFECT HOLIDAY!

Everything about this recent vacation was charmed -- from the very start, in fact, when I contacted Michael McMahon to rent this beautiful house to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday/vacation/surprise visit from her son. The house is spacious yet cozy, located in the heart yet far enough away to enjoy absolute quiet and privacy. It is beautifully decorated and clearly looked after with great perspicacity. Simply, this is the only house we'd rent again when next we visit Key West. And a huge Thank You to Michael for making it all happen so easily. You rock, Michael! XO

Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Absolutely the most wonderful place we have ever vacationed in. This home is beautiful, roomy, comfortable, and the absolute best location in Key West. It truly felt like home. A five star rating does not even come close in rating this property. It truly deserves a ten plus star rating. Even though it rained four out of the five nights we stayed, due to the location of this property, we still had the best vacation ever. Thank you Michael, for a wonderful and relaxing time. We vacation to Key West once a year and would love to rent this property again and again.

Owners response: We thank Chris and Bev for their wonderful review. We truly care about our guests and their comfort and we seemed to have the mark with these folks. We agree with Chris and Bev 100% - the biggest asset of the house is it's location. Cemetery like quietness in the middle of all the action Key West visitors love to experience, one could hardly ask for more. Secondly, the one place you're going to spend the most time during your vacation is the bed. So we pull all the stops to make the beds are as inviting and comfortable as any you ever been in. The house is made new as possible for each guest both inside and outdoors too. We look forward to hosting these guests again and again.

Everything we wanted and more

This has got to be the best location in Key West! We were within walking distance to everything we wanted to do, and to many of the best restaurants in town. The photos posted don't do the property justice. The house is beautifully decorated. The yard is perfect...landscaped and fenced in. There is an outdoor table and chairs for hanging out and reading or dining.

The property was extremely clean and if anything came up the owner was immediate in answering our questions. We live in Florida, so we drove, but only used our car once for groceries. Next time, I will leave the car at home and cab it if we really needed to go to Publix. There is a market close by with everything we needed, though.

And, who says Key West doesn't have a beautiful beach? We discovered Fort Zachary State Park, which is within walking distance or if you prefer ride a bike there. The beach was beautiful and people were snorkeling there.

We went to some great restaurants and found a new one that is a tappas restaurant...Santiago's Bodega. Very well priced and the food was outstanding. And for the nights we wanted to stay home, we found out that Sandy's delivers! Great cuban and mexican food!

I will definitely be back to this property and would recommend it to anyone!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
