Our fully furnished, spacious luxury 2-bedroom "Beethoven's Retreat" accommodates up to 7 guests and is the ideal vacation home for a couple, a family or a group of business or vacation travelers.  Situated on the ground floor of a California Craftsman duplex, this 1100 sq-ft gem is decorated with an eye for historical detail and has been newly painted and renovated with hardwood floors throughout. Its airy 1200 sq-ft layout and features 2 large bedrooms (one with skylights & loft), each with their own beautifully tiled bathroom (main bath has a Jacuzzi tub)and plenty of closet space. Free phone, high-speed internet (6 megabyte speed!) with Wi-Fi and premium cable TV with a 42-inch screen are included. Our large living room leads into out adjoining dining room (seats 6-8) and to a full sunny kitchen with all amenities (stove-top range, broiler, microwave, large refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, and breakfast table) looking out onto our backyard garden with lemon and orange trees. The Retreat has its own terra-cotta patio framed by colorful bougainvillea, a charcoal BBQ, and a shared laundry cabaña with new washer and dryer.

We're just minutes from the ocean in beautiful Mar Vista, adjacent to Santa Monica, on a treed residential street, and top-flight restaurants, cinemas and antique shops are only 2 minutes away. Our cross street takes you past a very convenient Costco supermarket and shopping center & the famous Venice canals, to the fabulous beaches of Santa Monica and Venice. Bright, clean and inviting, the home's location is perfect for exploring the nearby beaches.

2 queen beds, one queen-sized sofa-bed, one double electricallly-inflatable air mattress. Washer and Dryer and all linens provided. Peak & holidays: $280/nt or $1900/wk for up to 4 guests. Minimum stay 3 nights.
There is a $100 cleaning fee. No taxes. Each add'l guest $35/night. Maximum 7 guests.
A $400 refundable damage deposit is required to book the property. We accept cash, credit cards, Paypal, travelers checks and personal checks (from major US banks ONLY).  There is a 3% charge on all credit card payments and a $100 non-refundable fee on all cancellations. Reserved off-street parking, phone, high speed broadband and Wi-Fi, cable TV and laundry facilities are INCLUDED.
Rent due in full at least one week before arrival (on arrival if paid in cash).  No pets or smoking please.
