A perfect family Spring Break

Review submitted: April 6, 2014   Date of arrival: April 3, 2014

We loved See Forever. The 3 separate levels all with private baths were very nice for privacy and separation. We spent most of our time in the main living room on the super comfy leather sofas and with the gas fireplace on for warmth and ambiance. It warmed the entire upstairs. The beds were all very comfy. Bathrooms very spacious. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi in the master bath. There was even lavender jacuzzi bubble bath. The kids (teen girls) were soaking in the hot tub on the deck as often as we'd let them; we really enjoyed it on the crisp evenings. Just the right mix of hot and cold. The kitchen had everything we needed from a corkscrew and wine glasses to pot holders, knives, and cutting boards, even dish soap was provided.

In town, besides the must-see Aquarium, the Sky Lift was a must-do. Ripley's Mirror Maze and 5D Movie were both family fun. We enjoyed the Log Cabin Pancake House of Gatlinburg. My favorite was Old Mill Village in Pigeon Forge. Loved dining at the Cafe. Delicious quiche! Loved the Pottery House there; only got a couple small pieces, a bit overpriced. Loved all the shops there. Fresh flours ground on the property for sale in the General Store.

Pam encouraged us to rake the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail at traffic lights 6 or 8. It was very nice, and another must-do. To at least get a taste of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, hike 30 min or so up the Rainbow Falls Trail. Very pretty. Plan on a few hours one-way uphill to go all the way to the a Falls, though. And bring water, if you do. Maybe make it a picnic lunch. We didn't make it that far, but will try next time.

Don't pass up Glades Soda Shop just down in the Glades Art District. You'll pass right by it on your way in and out. Great home style vintage soda shop.

The cabin was reasonably priced. Grabbed some frozen meals and breakfast items at Food City just at the bottom of the main road and ate several meals in. Pam was super responsive and accessible with some questions we had. So easy to work with.

We would definitely stay here, again.

Owners response: Thank you and I am so pleased you found the cabin met your needs! That floor plan is one of the things that attracted me to the cabin.
I appreciate those tips and I learned some things to try, too.

It's true! You can See Forever.

Review submitted: January 21, 2014   Date of arrival: January 4, 2014

This cabin was wonderful! Our trip to Gatlinburg was a last minute whim inspired by my son and his girlfriend. Got in touch with a friend for recommendations and she sent me right to See Forever. Looked at the pictures, thought it was fine, price was right and booked it. We arrived Saturday and we were in awe at the view of the Smokey Mountains. Private, no trees blocking the view, and peaceful. Our accommodations well exceeded our expectations. Having no definitive plans, we were hardly fazed when we got snowed in for 2 days. We had plenty to, movies, pool table and hot tub. Thank you Pam for graciously sharing your beautiful cabin. We look forward to coming back real soon.

Owners response: I am thrilled the cabin exceeded your expectations!! I would have loved to see that much snow around the cabin. One day I will catch it and take pictures to post. I have only seen about half an inch or so at the cabin and that was pretty. Glad you enjoyed your stay- Thanks!

Lovely Hoiday memories

Review submitted: January 19, 2014   Date of arrival: December 20, 2013

Beautiful cabin with lovely views. Great location, private, but not too remote. The roads around the cabin are good for walking/jogging and it is only a short drive to the grocery store, shops and downtown Gatlinburg. Very serene and peaceful. We rented for Christmas with our grown children and had plenty of room for everyone to sleep, hang out on one of the three decks, escape to the loft or watch a movie downstairs. Although the kitchen and the main living area are smaller than they appear in photos, it is a very cozy, lovely setting and the open concept made meal preparation very enjoyable. The gas fireplace was great and added to the ambiance. We stayed for ten days and would have loved to stay longer!

Owners response: I am so glad you all enjoyed your Holiday! I like the privacy, too, but do like knowing others are not too far away :) Family vacations are to be treasured for sure. Thanks!
