You knew your vacation would make you feel on top of the world, but who would have thought it would be literally true? From our penthouse condo at Cinnamon Beach 964, you can survey miles of beautiful scenery, including lakes and greenery. What heaven!

Designed for a good-sized group, our 6th-storey condo in an elevator building overlooking a pure blue lake is the perfect place for up to 10 people to stay. It boasts all the comforts of home, with none of the crowding and corner-cutting of hotel rooms. From the moment you walk in, you know this is a place you'll love. Before you leave, you'll already be making plans to return!

Let's start with the balcony, everybody's favorite part of Cinnamon Beach 964. It offers views from 2 sides, and is covered so that there's always a bit of shade. The air is balmy here, tinged with that ocean salt, and you can hear the murmur of the surf. The Atlantic Ocean is less than a 5-minute walk -- just follow the sea birds that wheel in over the lake each morning!

There is casual seating on the balcony, including a table for 6 and a chair or two in quiet corners. When you're in a large group, downtime is essential, and we have created places where you can retire with a book, glass of wine, or earbuds for an hour and two and recharge your batteries in a beautiful setting!

But quiet time and panoramic views of natural beauty aren't for everyone, which is why the living room at Cinnamon Beach 964 is fully equipped with electronics and super-comfortable seating in which to enjoy them. Our HDTV, VCR, and DVD player are at your disposal in the large entertainment center. Flop down on the couches and settle in for an evening at home! 

If you need more space for family night in, our dining table is adjacent to the living area, and seldom gets used for meals. (The balcony usually steals that honor!) Break out the Settlers of Catan for the grown-ups, Sorry! for the ankle-biters, and put on your favorite CD. The kids will be delighted, especially since the free wireless Internet at Cinnamon Beach 964 means that they can text their buddies and constantly update their status on Facebook. Their parents and grandparents might appreciate the opportunity to check directions and opening hours online, too!

And who is going to feed this hungry mob? Well, probably many of the fine area restaurants offering fresh-caught seafood and other delicacies, if not the little café 2 minutes away by (bare) foot in the clubhouse of the Cinnamon Beach complex. But just in case you feel the urge to prepare a home-cooked feast, you'll find everything you need in our kitchen -- cookware, utensils, dishes, and all manner of gadgets. With its granite countertops, tiled floor, and wooden cabinets flanking the new appliances, this is a space in which you might actually enjoy cooking . . . Or not! That's what the microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster are for. Pop something into them first thing in the morning to get everyone moving, then off to finer things!

Of course, getting out the door in the morning means you have to leave your bedroom, which no one will want to do at Cinnamon Beach 964. We've done our best to outfit the master and second bedroom with luxury and the third (kids') bedroom with fun, including TVs and DVD players in all 3 bedrooms. And if your group overflows the bounds of the bedrooms, no problem. One of the living room sofas converts to a bed for 2!

The master bedroom boasts a new king-size bed, HDTV with DVD player, sliding-glass door access to the balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi-style soaking tub and walk-in tiled shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the kids' room has a cheerful clubhouse atmosphere and 2 sets of bunkbeds. A second full bathroom offers both a tub and shower.

Cinnamon Beach 964 is in the gated Ocean Hammock Resort, with 2½ miles of private beach, heated pools, a spa, fitness center, kids' water playground, gameroom, and walking trails at your disposal. A world-class golf course is right next door.

Fire Alarm Disaster over Labor Day Weekend

Condo: Very clean and in great condition with all essential amenities except: additional dishwasher detergent, trash bags, toilet paper and a blanket to use with the sofa bed. Otherwise, great TV, internet connection and appliances. Property Management:<br/> REFUSED to take any responsibility or initiative in dealing with 15 occupied units during 2 days of false fire alarms. They were very slow returning calls or giving information/solution/apology BUT very quick to deny a credit or refund. First, customer service<br/> at the main number MUST improve. If a customer is on vacation and the fire alarm is going off, every 3 minutes for 4 hours (during the children's nap time), a basic &amp;quot;I understand you are upset and will do my best to help you&amp;quot; would have been nice.<br/> Instead, the response we received was that it was an Association matter, which doesn’t help when a vacation turns into a headache. A simple &amp;quot;we're so sorry you're having to deal with this, here is a drink/food/ice-cream voucher would have been sufficient.<br/> Instead, Vacation Rental Pros avoided the issue, the phone calls and the ultimate problem. As a Manager, I know the longer I avoid a timely and LOUD issue, the more irritated my customer gets. We finally had the property manager visit our unit on Sunday afternoon<br/> (day 2 of false fire alarms) and he had no answers. As a provider of a service, YOU are responsible for your customer's satisfaction...not the building, the association or the maintenance people. You claim that VRP growth comes with referrals and word of mouth<br/> business. As returning customers for 3 years, we are hesitant to refer friends knowing that customer service disappears when the going gets tough. -From all 4 couples in unit 1031<br/>

Owners response: I apologize for the issues with exterior Building Fire Alarms. Vacation Rental Pros has been on the phone with these guests, in person and also by email with at least 4 representatives from our company. We have explained that we do not manage the buildings. This is managed by the association and May Management. This is not to pass the buck. This is the truth. We manage the individual condo, but not the exterior building. When were notified on Saturday, September 3rd that the exterior fire alarms went off at two different times, we contacted May Management on their emergency phone. May Management then contacted the vendor Dynafire and they came and reset the panel. All parties assumed this issue was taken care of at that point. On Sunday, September 4th, this party again contacted Vacation Rental Pros, and we immediately contacted May Management who has staff at the building and they went over and manually reset the panel. They again brought in Dynafire to look at the panel. At this point, we offered to move the guest to upgrade the guest to another building as the fire alarm went off 3 times. We offered an ocean view unit. The guest indicated they wanted additional compensation. We explained this would have to be discussed with the unit owner, and really was a separate issue. We were offering to upgrade them to a better unit with a view and in a different building with no issues with the exterior fire alarm. The alarms sounded 3 times and Roland of May Management said that 2 of the times that it went off was for no more than 5 mins until he could get there to reset/silence it. He sat there resetting it for an hour until Dynafire got there to bypass the alarm so that it wouldn't sound. At this time the alarms are silenced . Dynafire spent a couple hours cleaning and repairing the panel. They did a few trial runs and everything seemed to be working. I again sincerely apologize for this. It is not a usual circumstance. But, I wanted a chance to explain the facts.
