Old Oak Hideaway - serene and comfortable in Yosemite

Secluded on eleven acres nestled amongst the Oaks and Pines, our studio loft "Old Oak Hideaway", is awaiting your pleasure. The only other building around is the home of your hosts. Children and pet friendly, this studio has everything you will need for a quiet getaway. A fully loaded kitchen, Wireless internet, iPOD docking station, Netflix is available for on demand movies and tv programs or access other streaming options via the ROKU box. Explore the eleven acres and find the secret trails through the mystical forest.

Our cat friendly guardians Cooper (Husky/wolf mix) and Dino (Black lab mutt) keep the bears away but you may see many of the other wild animals we have wondering the property at times, deer, fox, coyote, wild turkey and others. The boys would love to visit with any of your pets but we do ask that any bigger dogs sleep outside on lead lines, the little ones may enjoy the indoors with a pet deposit.

Fully Loaded Kitchen: full size refrigerator and stove/oven, microwave, coffee/espresso machine, toaster, waffle maker, blender, pots/pans, dishes, glasses, mixer, utensils, silverware, hand soap, hand towels, paper towels, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar. Beds: two full beds made with sheets, pillows, blanket and comforter with extra sheets available. Twin hideaway is "hiding" in kitchen alcove and has sheets, pillow, blanket and comforter available. Bath: full size bathroom with tub/shower combo, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, bath mat, hair dryer, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Wireless internet, iPOD docking station, Netflix or other streaming options through a Roku box. Iron and full size board. A/C and heat. Deck with patio furniture. Fire pit with camp chairs. Easy access to Yosemite National Park and other attractions. Full RV hook ups. Fully paved access, no gravel or dirt roads.

Just 10 minutes from historic Mariposa or 20 minutes from Oakhurst, you can have your choice of entrances to the majestic Yosemite National Park. Just beyond Oakhurst is the beautiful resort area of Bass Lake. With such places so close, all kinds of activities are yours for the choosing: fishing, water sports, snow sports, hiking, biking, golfing, rafting, historical tours, gold panning, rock climbing, zip lining, horseback riding, birding, and so much more.
