A small town in Franklin County in the western region of the state of Maine, Weld is set beside Webb Lake in a lovely valley and is almost completely surrounded by mountains. Mt. Blue State Park offers visitors an extensive network of trails, a sandy beach, a popular camping area, a boat launch and a picnic area. The Center Hill Area of the park provides access to nature trails and extensive multiple-use trails that are enjoyed by hikers and mountain bikers, as well as ATV and horseback riders.
