Eureka vacation rentals
The small town of Eureka is located in the southwestern corner of the state of Montana, seven miles south of the Canadian border. Eureka is surrounded by many lakes and acres of State and Forest Service land. This lends itself to numerous outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, swimming, water skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, ice skating, hunting, and more. If downhill skiing is on your agenda, a 45 minute drive will take you to both The Whitefish Mountain Resort at Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana and the Fernie Alpine Resort, in Fernie, British Columbia. One natural attraction that should not be missed is the Kootenai National Forest, which is on the border of Montana and Idaho. Kootenai is huge, encompassing over 2.2 million acres, with craggy peaks including the 8, 738-foot Snowshoe Peak, the highest point. There are two major rivers in the forest: the Kootenai and the Clark Fork. Camping, biking, hiking and fishing are the most popular activities here, with trophy bass, northern pike, rainbows, and bull trout comprising the major catches. Yearly events in Eureka include Rendezvous Days, the Amish Auction, The Rodeo, The Bull Thing, the Lincoln County Fair, the Quilt Show and SalmonFest. Eureka Vacation Rentals are plentiful and a great way to get the best Eureka Deals on your accommodations. Keep an eye out for Eureka Last Minute Deals which will provide you with even more substantial Eureka Savings.
