Glacier National Park is located in the northwestern region of the state of Montana. The park contains two mountain ranges, sometimes referred to as the southern extension of the Canadian Rockies. One of the tallest waterfalls is Bird Woman Falls, which drops 492 feet from a hanging valley beneath the north slope of Mount Oberlin.
