Newfound Lake vacation rentals

Newfound Lake is located in Grafton County, New Hampshire, in the central region of the state. The lake is a pristine 4,106-acre glacial lake with 22 miles of shoreline. It is two and a half miles wide and seven miles in length and is fed by eight springs. You can venture out on the water in a kayak or hike on the shore. Newfound Light House is on the eastern shore of the lake and is a good kayaking destination. The Newfound Audubon Center is located on the lakeshore in nearby Hebron and features The Paradise Point Nature Center which offers interactive exhibits, live animal displays, and SkyWatch, which is a NASA-based program that patches through images from deep space telescopes. Also on the premises is the Homestead Trail, which educates about archeological study and 19th century agriculture while you walk the scenic route. The Newfound Rendezvous, a wooden boat builder’s festival, is held in town each September. The New Hampshire Marathon, which is a sanctioned qualifier for the Boston Marathon is held on first weekend in October. Each winter the "Snodeo" is held, which consists of organized snowmobile races on the lake. You can also snowmobile on your own any time conditions are favorable. Camping facilities and hiking trails can be found at various locations about the lake.  Newfound Lake Vacation Rentals are available and are the best way to net Newfound Lake Deals.
