  • Golfers will be pleased to find a number of challenging courses throughout the area that test skills from the shaded tee boxes to the rolling greens.   • The Brotherhood Winery in nearby Washingtonville is the oldest continuously operating winery in the U.S. Tour the vast network of underground cellars that house a variety of casks containing vintages that are sure to delight your palette. Wine lovers and amateur sommeliers would be wise to plan a day in this historic vineyard.

Downtown Blooming Grove

  • Grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants situated in downtown Blooming Grove for a relatively inexpensive meal that will sustain your appetite with great food and friendly service. The Bella Luna Restaurant offers patrons a chance to dine on a wide array of authentic Italian delicacies and pasta dishes. The charming atmosphere of this little establishment presents a warm and welcoming feel, and personable waitstaff are sure to make you feel like a regular.
  • History buffs should make a point to see the numerous historical sites located throughout the area. The Hasbrouck House is located a short drive away in nearby Newburgh, and is the building where George Washington’s set up his military headquarters at the close of the Revolutionary War. Here, you’ll be able to step through a window in time and walk in the footsteps of America’s first president.
