We really enjoyed our stay at the Lez's beach shack, amidst the maritime themed-decor of pirates, ships, shells, shipwrecks corals, fish, lighthouses and everything to do with the oceans and the sea. The house was so roomy and comfortable for four. It has plenty of space for travellers to unpack their suitcases and spread out. Beds were comfortable. The mosquito nets are a thoughtful touch, not that we needed them (although we did arrive home late one night to a serious bug infestation). There is a lovely, spacy bathroom and places to sit and read, watch TV/movie or listen to music on a high quality sound system. Everything we could possibly have wanted or needed was there. Loved the woody, timber feel of the place, a real showcase of the unique products of Tasmania's forests. All appliances in good working order. Just felt like a great place to come home to. Only negative would be the driveway entrance which I would have to rate as dangerous. If some unwary visitor hasn't put a wheel into the ditch at the left front approach it's a miracle. If it ever happens it will take a tow truck with crane to lift the vehicle out. In fact the occupants of the car could be at risk. Need to fix that Lez, or at least put up a warning notice and a few marker sticks out there to guide drivers clear of the danger. Also, a handrail on the unprotected side of the stairs is definitely a good idea. Perhaps anti-slip treads on the steps as well. I would gladly return and stay a month to enjoy the invigorating breeze from Bass Strait and read the many interesting books.
