  • Stunning!

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. It's equipped with everything you need and more. The decoration is exquisite, there are books and games, brochures and more. The only only thing is that you can hear some cars because it's located on a main road, but it wasn't too loud and they provided disposable earplugs (so thoughtful, I didn't need them though) The host is very helpful and attentive. I highly recommend it!

  • Lovely cottage for a relaxing getaway!

My partner and I stayed at Tennyson Cottage for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. Amanda is an amazing host who made us feel very welcome, especially by leaving a little welcome basket of goodies and a personalised letter. She clearly pays attention to detail and that comes across in the way the cottage is presented and how cosy it feels. There really is nothing that isn’t provided for and it is very clean and well looked after. Our weekend was about relaxation and cooking and Amanda’s kitchen is amazing and full of all the basic spices, oils and sauces. She’s even got some great cookbooks on the bookshelf if you feel like branching out. The cottage is actually much bigger than the pictures make it look. It was big for just the two of us so you could very comfortably have two couples staying. The yard and surrounds are beautiful and it is in a very rural setting which makes it very quiet and relaxing. We loved it and would love to go back again. It is a good base to explore the northern blue mountains and the Hawkesbury. Thank you Amanda for making our stay so lovely and memorable.
