  • Beautiful Property and Nice Location

The apartment is really beautiful and we loved the location. The views from the apartment are amazing as well. It was a short walk to the market for groceries or a convenient walk around the corner to the bus station or even to take the ferry. The beds and furnishings are great, but we have suggestions to improve a guest's stay there. For a group of adults, coordinating the use of one key fob was a bit complicated. Although the intercom system is great to allow someone up if there is already someone inside the apartment, there were some days the intercom system at the main building (downstairs) was down and didn't function for anyone. It would be nice to provide two keys and two key fobs for people and just charge accordingly if they do lose it. The directions to find the parking space was a bit confusing as the spaces are not in numerical order. Otherwise, it was great. For the most part, we liked the cookware that was provided, but there are some cookware missing that would be beneficial to guest use such as a baking dish and colander. We didn't care much for the guest bathroom design with the shower. There is only a half glass wall so the water always leaks out onto the floor so we constantly had to leave a towel there. Also, having additional towels would be great. We were able to wash the towels and the washer/dryer combo was convenient, although it would be nice to have a separate washer and dryer that would make it more efficient for guests washing their clothes and being able to run two loads simultaneously. These suggestions don't neccesarily make or break someone's stay, as it is a really nice property with a lot to offer. It would just enhance the guest experience. Thank you though, as we did enjoy our stay at your beautiful apartment and would recommend it to others to stay there!

Location of this place is impeccable. There was no need for a car during our stay. We could take a bus or ferry to those touristy places fairly easily; major stops or terminal of both transportation means are well within walking distance. Despite the close proximity to the downtown Sydney, the place is in a tranquil neighbourhood. After the initial exploration, we quickly figured out we could get terrific coffee and baked goods just on Darling St. Sometimes we started our morning with a cappuccino (and a "babycino" for kids) , a croissant or brioche before we hopped on a bus or ferry. The other times we had a nice breakfast at "home" and savoured the peace. We also went picnicing at the nearby park, a great way to enjoy the view of Sydney without the hustle and bustle. By the way, the beddings are comfortable and it's quiet at night. If your sleep gets disturbed easily, this IS the place for you. The hostess Jen is very friendly. She's been to many countries (both for work and leisure). Now she meets guests from all over the world; that's an interesting turn. Overall, we enjoyed our stay tremendously and will come back when we have chance.
