Overall, our stay here wasn't too bad at all! We lived in Germany at the time but wanted to drive up to Brugge to check out the Ice Festival they hold there every year. Instead of driving 4hrs each way to the festival and back, in just one day, we decided to stay here. The place was cozy, had a couple of beds upstairs, one of which was in a bedroom. The sofa downstairs could open up to a bed as well but wasn't too comfortable. Stairs were a bit steep to get to the second floor so if you have a little one, recommend putting something up to keep them from going up and down. There was a ping-pong table outside which the kids did enjoyed whenever it wasn't raining. The place is just a quick walk to a decent size indoor pool with slides, and surrounded by lakes with abundance of activities to do. We went in the winter so most of the outdoor stuff were closed but I am planning on going back up during the warmer seasons to check these places out.

  • Back to Flanders to see where Grandpa fought in World War I. Random words to meet the requisite 100.

Delightful gite with two kitchens and a play room. The perfect hosts. Lots of hiking in the countryside. Close to WWI battlefields and Brussels.
