We recently attended a basketball tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend. We wanted a condo within walking distance of the Vancouver Convention Center and this condo was approximately 1 mile away which was perfect for us. This was a very modern condo on the 11th floor. A great view at night of the city lights and when it cleared up a bit from the rainy skies we could see the local mountains which had fresh snow on it. Upon our arrival we found the condo very clean, no complaints at all. One addition that would have been nice was to have dish towels. We searched all over for one and only found a small towel in a drawer. We also drove so utilized the parking garage space. It took us a bit to find the space on P4 and we found a very tight space but our car fit. It might be nice to say in the description that a large vehicle such as a large SUV or pickup truck would most likely not fit. A lot of reviews I read stated that the condo was not in a nice neighborhood and people did not feel safe. The four of us, all female, did not feel unsafe at night. We come from smaller cities, and I felt safer in this area than I do in my hometown at night. Yes, there are homeless people on the streets but they never bothered us and we did a lot of walking over the 4 days we were there. We really would like to come back for a long weekend to explor Vancouver and would stay here. We found Vancouver natives to be extremely nice and helpful when we asked questions. We definitely recommend this condo for your getaway!
My wife and I stayed here in November and loved it. First of all, the location to all the restaurants and activities in Gastown was unbeatable.
We loved the space. As architects we really enjoyed the large loft area and the old warehouse character. Had no issues with cleanliness.
I noticed some reviews complaining about the balcony facing the alleyway and we did not see any issue. You get a great view of the mountains from the balcony and homeless people are a norm of the old neighborhood, similar to old neighborhoods in just about any city we have visited.
Loved the place and felt it made our trip to Vancouver that much better.
