Wow, where to start. Absolutely great neighborhood, very quiet with lots of SAFE places to park. Convenient to LA and Pasadena. House is huge and open which made family time with all my married kids an absolute delight! Bathrooms are great with the master bath a dream. Kitchen is large, well equipped and top notch at every level. The two story is also a plus in that those who are early to bed weren't bothered by the late night gamers and chatters in our group. The backyard is large and has a great ambience with room for plenty of guests and is set up for cooking out as well as just relaxing. We had two small issues, the owner's clean up crew dropped the ball (this happens from time to time and seems to be no fault of the owner) and missed some things but the laundry equipment in this home is the best on the market and the situation was solved in about 30 minutes. The previous guests had broken something on the kitchen refrigerator and a little temperature alarm was going off intermittently. The owner responded to each need in a matter of minutes and solved the problem immediately even so far as dispatching a repairman for the fridge. The furniture is a bit spartan but all were comfortable. We were actively involved in our sons' wedding, the purpose for our stay, and in the midst of the hustle, bustle, and stress this home was an absolute oasis of peace, comfort, and tranquility. We would used this home again in a heartbeat!

Bonnie is nothing but helpful and welcoming in the run up and throughout our visit (which was 3 weeks) knowing you have an owner that cares is a great support for the longer stays. The bungalow is small, very small so do be aware if you wanted an indoor space to relax it's not that spacious - that said a smart TV does help! Kitchen has almost all you need - I should have gifted a garlic crusher though! Great air con, good WiFi and a, covered by vines, outdoor space (which we didn't use much). Close to the freeway entrance, but very little in walking distance for those of us who like to stretch our legs and walk. It's about $7 one way in Uber if you're factoring in a night in Old Pas. On parking - while not a concern for us - those with lots of luggage, walking difficulties, a desire to have the car right there, this could be a factor. Often we did have to park in the next block. And watch the street cleaning days! Surrounding neighbors tend to be younger students but no noise at night to concern you. There is a dog next door that did have some barking issues, Bonnie is aware, but early morning (6.45/7am) barking and aggressive barking when you pass by or are in the yard is a little unsettling. A great value space with a super supportive and caring owner. Thanks Bonnie, hope our paths cross again soon. M&T
