It was very clean and relaxing. I would recommend anyone to rent this place. Great price for a nice break. Short walk to the lake....

I rented this cabin over the Labor Day Weekend Holiday 2018 with another family that we always vacation with (4 adults; 4 boys{14,13,12,11}) and there was more than enough room for everyone. We arrived about 7pm on Friday with no issues entering the cabin. Jennifer & Omar gave me all the needed check in instructions with plenty of detail. There was even a welcome guide book at the cabin detailing all the cabin rules, EQ instructions, etc. Very nice to reference in a bind. The cabin is decorated in the typical "Big Bear" cabin themed atmosphere so really helps you get into the mood of your environment. The cabin is everything as mentioned in the ad plus more. Kitchen is stocked with all your cooking supplies needed (Crockpot, Instapot, coffee maker, pans, etc) The 2 bedrooms are good for the adults (Soft bed tops just in case you require a firm bed) with storage for clothes. Bathrooms are good (2 full showers) and never an issue with the plumbing (4 teenage boys-need I say more). Jennifer mentioned before we arrived that the water heater sometimes doesn't keep up with the needs if everyone takes a 20 minute shower back to back. We knew this with her warning and adjusted shower times and never had a issue with a cold shower (Thanks Jen).Hard to tell in the pictures, but there are actually 2 different living-rooms/hangout areas. The first is as you enter the cabin. No TV (Nice) fireplace with two reclining sofas to chill, talk, drink coffee, etc. The 2nd is towards the back of the cabin after passing through the kitchen. Large sectional sofa bed, Smart TV, board games, Wii, and good WiFi for internet connection. All the boys slept here which is a good distance from the bedrooms towards the front of the cabin. Never had an issue with too much noise from the boys playing Wii, playings games, watching scary movies on Netflix until midnight. The back patio is AWESOME!!! Nice size Propane BBQ, seating for 8 (Awesome breakfast/dinner opportunities) and did I mention a super clean everything working Hot Tube!! It is probably a "5 Seater" so nothing huge(Plan on get cozy). But it does the trick after a long hike or day on the slopes. Nice long driveway so no issue with having to park on the street for at least 3-4 cars. 3-5 minutes from grocery stores, 5 minutes from Bear Mountain, 7 minutes from Summit, 10 minutes to the Village. PERFECT central location. The 3 "issues" we experienced: Small ant problem, windows don't stay open/up and porch needed a sweeping.
