The house is in a quiet neighborhood. Convenient access to the lake. Nice shower. Plenty of towels. We appreciated all of the extras. We wish we could have stayed longer.

  • Cozy place, great for family with pets

Great place - large fenced in yard for the dogs which was #1 priority for us. We spent the weekend in the area for Thanksgiving to get away and visit Bok Tower Gardens (which also allows dogs now!). Bok Tower is about 20 min away. Neighborhood seemed safe and family oriented, and a well-behaved boxer lives next door. About 5 sand hill cranes live in the area, so it was fun to see them roaming around. House was very clean (we didn't experience what the last reviewer did) and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Motion lights downstairs were nice when going out after dark. Steps up to the house are shallow (not steep) and covered with non-skid material. The screens on the two porches seemed new - very tight and no holes for bugs to get through (although teeny gnats can get thru anything). Extra pillows and blankets were available. The a/c worked quite well. The only 'negatives' are minor. Wifi was available, but it was a little slow. The beds are firm (which I like but my boyfriend didn't - so that's just a matter of taste). TV seemed small at first, but once we sat down to watch it, it was fine (funny how spoiled we get with our giant TVs!). The owner was very pleasant and responsive. Some chocolate candy was laid out, and Coke/water in the fridge which was very nice. There's a campground not far up the road (less than 10 min). This would be perfect for someone whose family likes to camp but they don't!
