  • Beautiful Home in Sleepy Spa Town
    4 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home for 2 weeks during Late February/Early March. It was well located in Brides-les-Bains - near restaurants and across the street for the main thermal spa in town. It was about a 5-10 minute walk uphill to the Olympe Gondola, which wasn't very crowded. However, I'd recommend booking your ski passes online to avoid any waiting. I'd also recommend renting the storage lockers for your equipment asap. This makes the walk uphill much easier. The home was well-equipped with good internet access. It had a lot of space and natural light. It was very roomy for the two of us, which is what we like. It had more modern touches. The baths and showers were quite nice. We mainly heated the home using the wood-burning stove and fireplace, even though there are heaters. There was plenty of wood to use and we loved the smell. The kitchen was well-stocked, and a grocery store was only a 2 minute walk away. It was an easy and enjoyable stay. Our only suggestions would be to upgrade the master bedroom mattress (we like very firm mattresses) and to update the sofas, as many other careless travelers have spilled on the furniture. Ashley was a pleasure to communicate with and he even made arrangements to secure two yoga mats for me during the stay. We cannot thank him enough! Thanks for a great stay and we'd love to return.
