  • Wonderful place

Very nice apartment with two balconies. Our neighbor smoked a lot so we couldn’t sit on the big balcony and had to keep windows and doors closed. The other balcony wasn’t furnished. Too bad. Lovely view over the lake, great pool and a small beach (stones not sand). It would have been nice if it was possible to buy water bottles and ice cream from the reception or somewhere else. The reception staff was very friendly, but told us that we had to pay for towels and linen so be careful if the description still says that it is included. We needed information in English about the surroundings and what we could do. Fx hiking, boat rental etc But what a beautiful place. We are definitely coming back.

  • Charming hillside retreat.

This quaint property is snuggled up to the grassy hillside of the owner's home. The gardens are lovely and filled with peonies. Dany and her husband are gentle and kind people. My husband and I rented the chalet for a week in late April. We were lucky enough to see the apple trees blossom. The chalet is immaculate. The kitchen has everything that anyone would need to prepare a meal. The weather was cool so we did not spend a lot of time on the porch. It would be a paradise in the summer. As most French homes are designed, the living room has the dining table and a small sofa. When we arrived, a beautiful bouquet of fresh peonies was arranged on the kitchen table. What a perfect way to welcome guests. Also, Dany's yummy treats of jams and goodies were waiting for us to be consumed. The refrigerator is a nice size and not tiny like many rentals have. Thank-you Dany and Robert for making our French vacation feel better than home!
