We enjoyed our stay in Pelisanne. The house was very comfortable. Pelisanne was a nice location for our visit to Provence. The one negative is the lack of parking at the house. It is possible to load and unload in front of the house but a car must be parked in parking lots a few blocks away. We sometimes had difficulty finding a place.

This was our first VRBO experience and we were unsure what to expect. After travelling about France for 3 weeks and becoming used to "cozy" accommodations, this spacious apartment was a most delightful treat. Apartment is a misnomer for this unit is half a house with 12 foot ceilings. A curved staircase leads from the front foyer to the second floor and 2 roomy bedrooms with ensuite shower and toilets, large, comfortable beds complete with sheeting and towels. There is a third bed or sitting area in the upstairs gallery and a lavatory under the stairs on the main level. The kitchen is complete with refrigerator/freezer, gas cooktop, large electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, single serving coffee maker and toaster of sorts. All cooking and dining utensils were included. The dining table easily sat 6 people. A desk, loveseat and chair make up the sitting area. A CD player and selection of music discs was available. All was beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed having all the comforts and space of home and more, the independence and the opportunity for "home" cooking. We offer our great thanks and appreciation to Melissa, Nick and their family for the hospitality of their charming holiday home. While all of this information is to be found in the descriptor of the property, some things, we offer as "newbees" to the VRBO experience. The photo in the descriptor is of the back of the house, don't look for it as the front. Even with a GPS we had difficulty finding the residence arriving as we did after dark. It took us 15 minutes to figure out that the key to the front gate does not turn, one only pushes it in fully to disengage the lock. A map of the area in the welcome book would have greatly aided us in finding a grocery and pharmacy given the narrow one way roads of the area. Likewise, some instruction in the welcome book as to how to light the stovetop would have been of benefit. We were never able to accomplish that and heated all our meals in the oven. We trust Nick and Melisa found that we left their home as clean as we found it. Merci
