  • Just as advertised, cozy and comfy in cool weather!

We loved being away from it all, being in the quiet part of a quiet part of beautiful France, but not too far from anything. Madame Ines was always available, but never intrusive. We enjoyed shopping at the nearby fresh farmers street market, and cooking some of our own meals. As the weather had, rather suddenly, turned quite cold, we really appreciated the wood-burning stove. Thank you, merci beaucoup, for a wonderful stay! We hope to return!

  • Very clean and well located apartment

We had a wonderful three weeks staying in this apartment and Emmanuel made us feel very welcome. We had everything we needed and the location right in the heart of Sarlat with the markets literally outside your door was fantastic. The apartment was very quiet considering the amount of tourists that visit Sarlat and are on tours around the location. We underestimated the amount of attractions within this region and found plenty to see so is a great place to base yourselves. A car is invaluable to get to many of the sights. We also managed a day trip to Bordeaux on the train service (although a long day!). The apartment does have about 36 narrow steps to climb up a spiral staircase (understandable as a 500 year old building) so mobility needs to be good and to be aware of the weight of luggage you are travelling with. We had such a wonderful time and really felt at home, so much that we were very sad to be leaving! Would highly recommend to others.
