We have just returned from a 15 night stay at this property. We enjoyed it immensely and I am only giving 4 out of 5 stars because of some personal preferences. We knew the studio was going to be small but were surprised at how much storage space there was for our clothes. Everything went into the closet and the bags were stored under the bed so we did not feel cluttered at all. There was also plenty of drawer and cupboard space in the bathroom. The studio is decorated very nicely with nice art on the walls and felt light and airy. We like to cook so we found the kitchen to be a bit lacking in utensils. We bought a kitchen knife and had to borrow a larger chopping board which the owners willingly supplied. There were plenty of pans but no lids or baking dishes of any sort. Having said that, we managed to cook some splendid meals! The fridge and cooker seemed new. We chose this property because it had a tennis court and we like to play. However, it obviously had not been used in a long time and was quite neglected with many weeds growing up on the surface, a very sad, raggedy net and an uneven surface in one corner. However, after pulling the weeds, we played 6 times and had a lot of fun. The pool was lovely too. We knew there would be no wifi but it as a bit of a nuisance as were relying on email communication and, being from the USA, the cost to use data overseas can be high. We used our data sparingly! The patio was very nice to sit out, surrounded by lavender and jasmine and gave us a lot of extra living space. Fortunately, the weather was perfect, otherwise it would be a bit cramped being indoors. We did get bitten quite badly by mosquitos as I left the window open at night. I would strongly recommend personal bug spray if going in the summer. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful but discreet and the studio is very private. The town of Le Beausset had everything we needed and it is only a short drive to the coast. The Tuesday market in Bandol is a must! I would definitely recommend this property!

When we arrived, we were very pleased, since the home looked better than the pictures! We were also welcomed with some tea by the property owner, which was very kind. The property was lovely and clean, with a well equipped kitchen, 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There were several sitting areas, both inside and out, and the decks around the pool were great for relaxing. There is also a ping-pong table. The owners were very helpful with any questions we had, and also had information on local areas to visit, restaurants and so on. We went to one of those restaurants one evening - noted in the Michelin guide - and it was excellent! The centre of town is about 10 or 15 minutes walk from the property, so it is easy to get groceries or visit the market, as we did one day. Arles, Avignon, Aix and Nimes are all reachable from the property, as is the Gorges du Verdon and the Cote d'Azur. We can definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing stay in a very pleasant environment.
