We had to book a place on very short notice and Bronwen came through for us. It is a wonderful and comfortable flat with a well-equipped kitchen. The location of the flat was very convenient for us and only a 5-minute walk to our relative's apartment. We also walked to the boulangerie, bank, grocery store, and to the port. I highly recommend Les Pins D'Alep on Stalingrad if you like Lebanese cuisine. Thank you Lauretta and Emma for your help and understanding. We would highly recommend this flat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Marie's lovely apartment. It is a perfect fit for 2 couples looking to experience all Nice has to offer. Both bedrooms were well sized for each couple and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were an interesting configuration but worked well for our setup. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals (best bread knife EVER) as we generally like to go to the local markets and cook up tastes of the local produce. The view from the balcony is stunning as in the in the on line pictures but 10 times better in person! We spent most of our nights sitting on the balcony watching the sun set over Nice. The location is very central with a short hike up the hill to a local small grocery store, fabulous bakery and butcher shop. The local restaurant was open for café au lait and breakfast and served meals late when we wanted to eat close to our apartment. It was easy to figure out the local transit with the ability to get to Vieille ville in 10 minutes and return very close to home. Another bus route took us right to the amazing town of Villefrenche Sur Mer, 10 minutes to the beach! The apartment is on a very steep hill but was a manageable walk for the 4 of us. One of the great features was access to the single car garage that we used for parking our car that we rented for 3 days-a must if you are trying to park anywhere in Nice! Car traffic does start early in the morning but using the block out blinds cut the noise considerably. Finally, our host Marie was exceptional. She was very quick to answer questions via email, HomeAway app or WhatsApp and the apartment was spotless when we arrived. Possibly a few more coat hangers would be nice as we had enough clothes for a 2 week stay. There is a laundry machine that worked well-be prepared to line dry your clothes and have them out to dry early so the morning sun can get to them. I can't recommend this apartment enough if you are looking for an accommodation to discover the wonders of Nice. We'll definitely return if luck has us in the south of France again! Thank you so much Marie!!
