Peaceful beautiful surroundings with good sized pool. Ping pong table added to activity. Spacious, clean home with modern amenities and friendly owners. We were a party of five but place can accommodate large gathering of friends and family. Would totally recommend!!!

My daughter was reading "The Secret Garden" during our stay at Domain Pre Joly, and it seemed so fitting -- we drove through a canopy of trees, the gates opened, and we entered an oasis of calm and beauty. The rental house is part of a larger compound that includes the owner's house, a living space for the housekeeper, a pool house, a pool, and a large lawn. Next to the pool is a large covered patio where we ate most of our meals. The house itself is charming -- very nicely decorated, great use of space. Each bedroom has a whimsical theme -- Hermes scarves, Coco Chanel, and one with black and white photos of celebs including Madonna. The beds are extremely comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower. The bathrooms are gorgeous, with rainshower heads and beautiful tile. Anne Martin, the owner with her husband, Vincent, was a gracious and thoughtful host. She arranged to have a catered dinner waiting when we arrived, a delicious treat after a long day of travel. She also stocked the fridge with groceries from a list we provided. On the first morning we were there, we looked out the window to see Vincent waving, holding a bag of fresh pastries and baguette. We felt so welcome -- as if we were staying with family! And Carolina, the housekeeper (who also has an adorable dog) made sure the house and pool area stayed neat and tidy. Everyone in our party of six, including my husband and me, our 9 and 11 year old daughters, and my husband's parents, felt comfortable and well cared for during our entire stay. While you are there, be sure to make the trip to Palais du Papes and Pont de Gard -- two of our favorite excursions. We also enjoyed a trip to St. Remy for a lunch and a tour of the asylum where Vincent Van Gogh painted over 150 paintings. We ate at two restaurants recommended by Anne -- La Coeur d'Honneur, in a charming courtyard with excellent food and service, and Michelin-starred Le Prieure, which was spectacular. I've stayed at some amazing VRBO properties over the years, but this one was by far the best. We hope to return again someday!
