  • Traditional house in lovely mountain setting. Easy access to coast, rivers and local towns.

We were a group of friends, in our sixties, who wanted a rural base for exploring Northern Corsica. The house has comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a great private garden with lots of outdoor seating and lighting for eating and relaxing. The nearby mountains, rivers and small villages made great local walks, while the sandy shallow beaches and small towns were an easy 15 minute drive away. Longer days out, driving around Cap Corse, visiting the Scandola National Park or Corte and surrounding area were easily possible. And the lovely garden made lazy days in a real pleasure. The owner was very welcoming and provided a magnificent feast after our late arrival on a delayed flight. Many thanks Louis. We all enjoyed our stay very much. Corsica is a very beautiful island and the house was a great base to travel out from and return to.

  • Nice property and neighbours, no tourist hotspot!

My familiy, two small kids (1y, 3y) and my wife had a wonderful holiday on Corsica. The house is nice with nice neighbours to both sides. The house is well equipped, even with baby bed, high chair. The terrace and garden is perfect. We really liked that it is not located in one of the tourist hot spots. Big supermarket is just 7min drive, petrol is cheap and you can have one day trips to the north, south and west of the island easily. Booking was all easy and the administration lady provided a lot of hints of what to see and where to go, even though you find in the house travel literature on Corsica including vouchers for activities, etc. Great holidays. Thank you. Possibly we might be back next year.
