What a fantastic rental! The home itself is perfectly appointment with all the modern finishes anyone could hope for, accompanied by the rustic charm of this beautifully renovated home. The kitchen and lounge are spacious and inviting and the bedrooms and baths are exquisite and comfortable. The garden is such a lovely place to enjoy the day. We loved being in Poligny - the village is charming and convenient to everything you could need. It is a great starting place to explore all that Jura has to offer. Jennifer is a fantastic host! It was a please to get to know her and her family. She provided many recommendations and advice for our stay, and provided so many special extras for our daughter. Jennifer went above and beyond to ensure our trip was everything we hoped for. We would absolutely come back!

The description of this property is accurate. The property is very tranquil and is situated in a small village which itself is in the centre of France's largest hardwood forest, ideal for walkers. The house is well equipped and there is a large supermarket (Super U) in a small village about six miles away. For those with small children note that the property consists only of the ground floor and also that there is a large garden.Corinne and Thierry Lenzi are charming people who cannot do enough to help but Thierry does not speak english and Corinne's english is limited so that although not essential a little french would be a help. Dole is a pleasant little market town at about eight miles, other more local attractions are concerned with the now defunct salt industry and the site at Arc et Senans (about ten miles) is truly remarkable and should not be missed. To avoid parking problems in the nearby cities we took a train for the day from Dole to Dijon and also from Arc et Senans to Besancon, In each case the journey time was about 25 minutes and the ticket which could be bought on the train was about £10 return per person. So, a good place for a holiday with the only drawbacks being that a car is really essential and also a TV and DVD player would help to keep children occupied if rainy days occur.
