This apt/house is a jewel, just a five minute walk to town. The apt is spacious, immaculately clean, with charming French provential decor. The master bedroom is very spacious. The view from the window at night looks up to the lighted Citadel. The kitchen is darling....with everything you could need. We sat out on the sunny balcony and had our lunch. Big refridgerator which Amaericans love! The bathroom...huge by French standards and so pretty with the French floral tiles. We could have stayed here for a month. It is the most comfortable property we've stayed at during our 5 weeks in France. Although the the weather was cool and most days rainy, we enjoyed having a large green grassy yard with roses, peonies and rhododendrons. The owners were most cordial. Our stay was perfect.

My wife and I rented this flat for a month. She was training for the Compostelle and I was cycling for enjoyment. The flat is located in a very quiet, rural neighborhood, about 1.5 kms to a grocery store (where you can buy most everything) and 2.5 kms to the centre of the village of St. Pied de Port. It has two bedrooms and all the amenities you need. You can sit in the back garden and enjoy the morning sun, while having breakfast. The landlord and landlady are first class people. The helped us in every way imaginable with directions, places to eat, what to see, where to cycle and walk. You can not ask for nicer people. As well they have a friendly dog who loves people. We would highly recommend this flat for a short (week long) vacation or long term like us.
