  • Amazing property for a family in a perfect German Town.
    5 of 5

Great house with all the amenities you need and more. All the bathrooms look like new, as well as the kitchen. The appliances are top quality and very modern. It’s a big house with plenty of rooms and an awesome basement with sauna and a pool table. We were there during the early winter season for about 2 weeks and had no problems staying warm. Beautiful house with a large well kept patio. The owners are always available via phone or text to answer any question, and made us feel very welcoming. The town where the house is located is small and quiet, but with everything you need within walking distance. Lots of walking (or running) trails in the area. In summary our entire family loved the place and would recommend it to anyone, words are not enough to describe our experience at this place.

  • Wonderful stay at Schloss Hofstetten!!

We stayed at Schloss Hofstetten for a week in July 2016. The location is close to Munich, Nuremberg and Roth. This was important as we were attending the famous Challenge Roth Ironman race. Our family (of 14, 9 adults and 5 children) had such a wonderful experience we wanted to say “Thank You!” to our hosts, Familie Leuschner! They welcomed us to their renovated home (castle) and made us feel very comfortable. The Schloss was beautiful and there is so much history...all of us appreciated the details. First of all, making contact with the owners Helga and Peter was very easy and they responded very quickly to any questions we had. Everything was seamless...the reservation, the confirmation and our stay! For those who may be concerned about making a full payment once you arrive, we had no trouble… it’s not typical for us traveling from the US to not make at least a deposit but fear not, our reservation was complete and we had no trouble upon arrival. Once we arrived, we were given access to the castle and had 2 floors; the 2nd floor is where the majority of our rooms were including the full kitchen and dining area. The family also stays on the premises and if we needed anything they were there to help. Finally not only were we given access to the grounds and made to feel as if it were ours, on our last day we were given a tour of the top floor and a historical overview of the Schloss! We would like to thank the Leuchner Family for allowing us to stay at their beautiful castle!
