  • Great house. Great area.

A wonderful, cosy, nostalgic house. We have been there during October so all the trees around were colorful and the fall of autumn leaves was fantastic. It feels like leaving in a painting. You must like the atmosphere of being out of village. Supermarket and bakery are few minutes by car.

  • Good position, well appointed

Good location, with plenty of shopping nearby, within walking distance of downtown. The Marienplatz subway station is literally a minute away. The rooms are well appointed, especially the kitchen, that though small, contains all you need, including two different kinds of coffee maker. There's even a selection of (German) board games. We were lucky enough on our stay to have nice weather, and so to be able to use the small balcony and enjoy an outdoor game of Trivial Pursuit one night. As a light sleeper, my only complaint is that the curtains in the bedroom are not of the blackout type, in fact there are two small side windows that are uncurtained. The sound insulation is pretty good, but keep in mind that the Marienhospital is just up the street and there's a fair amount of ambulances that blare past. We would be happy to go back, and we would recommend it.
