  • Quaint Little Village

Anapoli is a quiet unassuming village and the home is warm and inviting. We enjoyed our stay. It is centrally located and you can drive to most parts of the island. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, warm living area and the owner was very gracious. He met us and drove us to the village and also spent time with us highlighting areas to visit during our stay. He also made restaurant recommendation - Peskesi! Reservations are a must but it is worth it. Crete is a beautiful island even in December! We will return!

  • Wonderful stay in Crete!

We loved our apartment in Crete! We knew relatively nothing about the island going in, just wanted something that was centrally located so we could do plenty of sightseeing during our short stay. Kokkini Hani turned out to be a small beachside community, that is clearly a hot spot to be in during the summer months. We were there at the start of low season, so had the place to ourselves for the most part! So many local shops and restaurants, an easy place to stay. Manolis was a fantastic host, and gave us some wonderful suggestions on what to see - Mochlos, Matala, Vai, and Palace Knossos among a few! The apartment was wonderfully appointed and had everything we needed for our family of 7. We were within walking distance of a market, and the Arkadi family restaurant was delicious! Also another great restaurant was right down the street (can’t remember the name - but went restaurant, then cleaners, then church - same side of street as the apartment) so quaint! We also got to venture around the downtown area, and Peskesi can’t be missed. Thank you so much for your hospitality, and we hope to return some day! Warmest Regards from the U.S.A!
