  • Just as advertised and so perfect for two couples. Clean, cheerful and convenient to the sea.

We so enjoyed our stay in Kiveri at Alex's two bedroom two bathroom apartment. Everything was as described on his website. The apartment was light, clean and well-maintained. The view from the very large balcony was stunning. We were able to walk down and swim right in front of the apartment. We had planned to stay in Nafplion but Kiveri had everything we needed--good restaurants in walking distance, a couple of grocery stores and a short drive to Nafplion. We took easy day trips to Mycenae, Epidauros, Monemvasia and Olympia. Alex was an excellent host, making sure we were okay and even bringing us treats. We thank Alex for a wonderful holiday.

  • Villa Negroni and Blue Mosaic - superb!

I feel this villa is a superb option for enjoying the historic sites of the Peloponnese while staying in a refined, elegant and comfortable poolside home overlooking the ocean. The home is new construction, exquisitely decorated and filled with antiques, art and fascinating books. The pool with surrounding patio has superb ocean views across the Gulf of Argos to the mountains. The villa management provided by Blue Mosaic is of the highest quality. They were extremely professional, responsive and pleasant to deal with. Specifics about the house: daily maid service is provided by cheerful housekeeper Eleni. We also had her prepare a meal for us on our arrival evening – Greek comfort food of moussaka and cheese pie – and it was outstanding. There was so much of it we had leftovers for several days. Dionisis Souris of Blue Mosaic facilitated our arrival and departure from the villa, and gave us a very thorough tour of all of its features. He was available by text at all times of our stay for questions. Blue Mosaic arranged for us to have an in-villa chef one night which was an excellent experience. Blue Mosaic also did grocery shopping for us to stock the villa which worked very well. There are several other villas, all very secluded, on the hillside that slopes down from Villa Negroni to the beach. There is a well paved and lighted path that leads to the beach, where there is a locked gate to which you will be given the key. The beach itself is not sandy but rather has small to medium-size rounded stones. There are several stone benches built in to the shore which are pleasant to sit on. The water in September was exquisite – crystal clear and just the right temperature. We arranged for Blue Mosaic to rent an ocean kayak for us, which we kept at the bottom of the path next to the gate to the beach. The kitchen is well appointed and was perfect for our needs. There is a clothes washer downstairs next to an exterior door that leads to the clothesline. The climate is such that our clothes were dry on the line in an hour or so. There is a television, which we never watched, and audio equipment in the chest that the television is on. The Wi-Fi in the house worked well, although there were some spots were it was stronger than others. The villa is near the village of Xeropigado, which is one of a string of small, pretty villages along the coast of the Gulf of Argos. The atmosphere is calm, with more locals than tourists when we were there.
