  • Amazing view, comfortable, lovely condo, perfect location

Arriving at Surf Song the first thing you are smitten with is the veiw from the large windows & the sound of waves hitting the rocks. The location is great for walking to shopping, excellent dining & Po'ipu Beach Park. We experienced a small glitch getting a parking permit but Joy responded within a few minutes via email & problem was solved. Overall the Surf Song met & exceeded all our expectations & we would happily stay there again.

  • Perfect Beach Bungalow!
    5 of 5

We spent a week in this absolutely pristine and stylish bungalow, just a 2-minute walk to Brennecke's Beach. The house really is perfect. The porch is lovely for sitting out and watching the chickens go by, the living room is wonderful for lounging in the world's most comfortable chairs, the kitchen is ideal for cooking (buy produce at the little farmer's market on Ala Kinoiki...$5 for an enormous coconut that the lovely farmer will slice open with a machete and then carve out the sweet coconut meat once you've drunk the water!). The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms too. Honestly, we spent a LOT of time in the bungalow because it was just so comfortable and attractive. Karen--one of the owners--was incredibly responsive (answered texts within minutes) and allowed us to check in early and also potentially extend our stay (we were concerned about being stuck thanks to Hurricane Lane). The bungalow is about 50 yards from the gorgeous walking path that meanders through plumeria trees and sloping lawns (we walked this every night) to the Grand Hyatt and Shipwreck Beach. The owners are also members of the Poipu Athletic Club which allowed us to use their water slide and pretty fantastic gym. If you're considering a house in Poipu, this is the one. The location is great. The house is immaculate, modern and well-appointed. We cooked almost every dinner there because the kitchen was such a pleasure to use (I mean, there was even a cold-press coffee maker!!!), and we ate on the porch as the sun set. Honestly, we would rent it again in a heartbeat. Our kids loved chasing the resident chicken and I loved walking in the morning and evening, breathing in the plumeria and sea breezes. Heavenly! Rent this house!!!
