  • A great apartment for rainy days

So we just returned from Sardinia. We stayed a few days at the apartment and we enjoyed the stay. Apartment comes with everything you can imagine to need, realy everything! A terrace where you can enjoy your meals. Apartment is close to supermarket and few minutes walk from town center. Parking place across the street close to apartment. Im not shure what SantAntioco is like is because we had rain all the time of our stay but Cagliari is 1h drive away and some nice beaches up to the north. So lots of things to see and do if sunbathing is not available=)

Danilo is a charming middle school teacher of Italian language and Literature. He was most welcoming and helpful. The apartment is enormous with a large living room with fireplace and beautiful dining table. There is a wid entry corridor ending in another sitting area. One of the bedrooms is very large. The ceilings are high - no need for a/c. The kichen is well-equipped. The TV is ggod and, while there is no DVD player, I was able to hook mine up in a couple of minutes. There is also a garden area with an al fresco dining area. There is a double swing seat. there are also two recliners but no cushions for them. Location is ideal on a quiet street facing the sea. Shops are at walking distance and a caddy is provided. We spent some time in Cagliari, went twice to Isola San Pietro which is very cheap by boat even taking the car. If you're interested in wine, the Santadi winery cooperative (Cantina Sociale) is a must. The archeological museum is amazing with perfect presentation. The Marine museum has almost nothing. There are many good beaches on the island and few people seem to use them.
