  • Premier spot in all Gaeta!
    5 of 5

We were a group of six staying 11 days in Gaeta. The groups main 3 criteria were: 1.A great view with which to experience the true life and feel of Italy. 2. Each couple wanted a private bedroom with bath. 3. Spacious and WiFi. This villa did NOT disappoint and we loved every minute of our stay!! The villa has many small rooms and spaces for reading or having ones own quiet time, or the large areas for dining or group time. The kitchen was very workable and nicely stocked with any dish, glass or tool we needed. We did not rent a car as planned, and instead walked to most of our destinations. If you cannot easily do stairs, be certain to rent a car! We'd take the stairs daily to the market and small grocery store and caffe bar just below our villa, sometimes 5 times daily and returned home with good very toned leg muscles! Inside the villa does NOT have any steps. We spent hours in the mornings and evenings simply gazing out the windows at the breathtaking Bay of Gaeta, and especially enjoyed hearing the USS Whitney play daily the Star-Bangled Banner. When we arrived the WiFi had just broken; however in 4 days the router was replaced. We had WiFi for the rest of our stay and we were rebated a small amount for the inconvenience. Same goes for the 3rd bathroom, which hopefully will work soon. The owners were extremely accommodating and available by phone at anytime we had a question.I give this thumbs up and we were 100% satisfied. We will be back to Gaeta and we will return to Villa Aragonese!!!!

  • Very clean! The views are just like the pictures!

When you book with VRBO or anyother home rental site you always wonder if your expectations will be met. No need to worry with this one. The pictures are exactly what you get!! Nino and his son Luca met us when we pulled up and showed us everything we needed to know. They told us about a great pizza place within walking distance and a couple of great resturants nearby. The apartment is actually the penthouse floor of the building and within walking distance of most anything you need. When our rental car broke down the last day we were there, we were able to walk 10 minutes to the train station the next morning to catch a train to Rome. We continued our trip without any interuption. Great place, lots to see and do. Highly recomend!
