Loved our stay. Emanuelle and Alessandra were great hosts. We had a delicious welcome dinner on the first eve. They guided us to excellent local restaurants and gave us a great a contact for a local cycling trip. they have all the best contacts. The location could not have been more ideal for visits to all the towns. we loved the little coffee shop across the street from the villa. We were only sad that it was not warm enough in April to swim - we will have to come back in the summer.
Thank you Giancarlo and Patrizia for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!
This is perfect for two couples or a family. Spacious rooms make this a comfortable home. 2 bedrooms and baths separated by an eat in kitchen. There is also a living room. Which we dubbed our card playing room.
Beautiful landscape views. Fabulous restaurants and bakeries for our morning pastry run.
This is a very walkable village. Turn right outside the front door and made our way down to the elevator which took us to the main piazza. More restaurants.
Friday is public market. Fruits, vegetables, meats and seafood. Tablecloths, shoes, clothing, pot and pans.... etc.
Overall we felt transported in time. A real treat.
The apartment had few idiosyncrasies which were easily remedied. Tiny clothes washer, but we made do. No clothes dryer.... but, a unique clothesline. This did not pose a problem for us. We all rather enjoyed our line dried clothes. No shrinkage which is a good thing after all the fabulous food we’ve been eating....
A tiny coffee pot made just one cup at a time. No dishwasher, but we didn’t cook, so the few cups and dishes were not an issue to wash by hand.
If we happen to venture back to this part of beautiful Italy, we would not hesitate to rebook this apartment.
