  • Cute cabin for wonderful family time

We came to visit our Early 20's children who live in Maine. We were looking for a place to be able to enjoy family time rather than just be out spending too much money but not enough time with one another. This location & cabin fit the bill! There really isn't a lot to do in the area during the time frame we visited (November). We brought our fire stick & a mi-fi because I still had to work while we were there. Only one TV & not a big area to all gather but we made it work. The fireplace was certainly a nice perk. The dining room table was nice and big making it convenient to all gather to eat and play games together. We would most definitely stay at this location again, especially if we visit during a warmer time frame, to enjoy the lake & outdoor activities. Judith was very responsive on any question we had leading up to our visit.

  • Beautiful location!

We were a group of 5 friends that spent two nights here. The house was in a wonderful and scenic location by a pond with a fire pit and kayaks. It is about an hour to drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia which we did on one day. Overall the place was clean, comfortable and had all the essentials that we needed. We realized after we got here that there was no Wi-Fi (this was our fault as the property itself does not claim to have Wi-Fi). The lamps in the bedroom were not working but since we were not in most of the time it really did not matter that much. It was almost impossible to sit on the sofa because of the pet odors, this was a drag especially after a long day of hiking etc. Other than that this was a good spot and we wish we had more time to spend at the property itself.
