  • Great Lakefront Property

Our family held a reunion in Central Maine, and we found this property to house some of the crowd. The cabin is older but very charming, with a newer addition on the back.It is nicely furnished and decorated with comfortable seats and sofas, with a number of antique pieces as well. It has four bedrooms and two baths, with a number of sleeper sofas in addition. Everything was clean when we arrived. It is the quintessential Maine lake house, and reminded me of what you might find in an L.L. Bean catalog. It's hard to describe how beautiful the waterfront and lake are, particularly in mid-October when the leaves are at the height of their color. It was peaceful to listen to the loons in the evening and early mornings, and to glide around the lake in the canoe and kayaks provided. The wood stoves kept us warm in the otherwise chilly evenings. The owner, Jennifer Siddall, was very pleasant to work with. She was concerned that we wouldn't appreciate the rustic aspect of the cabin, but to the contrary, it is what we hope for and expected. I recommend this vacation rental to anyone interested.

Plenty of beds,a well equipped kitchen that included an ice maker in the Fridge. We were very comfortable and if nights are cool, there is heat available. Plenty of dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. We fired up the Grill and cooked Top Round while watching the Patriots Sunday afternoon. 8 Golfers and we were only 15 minutes from the best Golf Course in the Northeast.(Belgrade Golf Course). We Will most certainly consider staying here again. Location is not on the water but it satisfied our needs.
