En français ci-bas. My husband and I stayed for seven days in the Colibri studio (with large patio). The appartment was exactly as described, very clean and well equipped. The patio provides additional living space, it has a great view of the garden and hills, and, since it is covered, it can be used even if it is raining (the weather was quite unstable during our stay). We were surprised at the lack of mosquitoes and bugs and really could enjoy staying outside after sunset. What made our stay special is the warmth and friendliness of the owners: small treats from their garden, tips about the island, breakfast on the first morning... :) A car is absolutely required because there are no services within walking distance. The road to get to the appartment seems daunting at first, but one quickly gets used to it. The central location makes it a good base to visit the south of the island (from Sainte-Anne all the way to Caravelle and Habitation Clément). Highly recommended for those who want a peaceful and authentic setting, out of the tourist areas. Mon mari et moi avons séjourné sept jours dans le studio Colibri (avec la grande terrasse). L'appartement était tel que décrit, très propre et bien équipé. La terrasse offre un bel espace additionnel, avec une jolie vue du jardin et des collines. Et puisqu'elle est couverte, on peut l'utiliser même quand il pleut (le temps était plutôt instable lors de notre séjour). Nous avons été agréablement surpris de l'absence de moustiques et autres insectes, ce qui nous permettait de rester dehors en soirée. Ce qui a rendu notre séjour particulièrement remarquable fut l'accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes: petites attentions, information et conseils, petit déjeuner le premier matin... :) Une auto est indispensable pour cette location, car il n'y a aucun service à proximité. La route pour s'y rendre peut sembler intimidante au début, mais on s'y fait vite et les distances sont courtes. La localisation centrale dans le sud de l'île en fait une bonne base pour rayonner (de Sainte-Anne jusqu'à la Caravelle ou l'Habitation Clément). Nous recommandons chaudement pour ceux qui recherchent un endroit paisible et authentique, à l'écart des zones touristiques. Un grand merci à Sylvie et Daniel!

This is the second time I have booked this apartment. The people are friendly, the place is small and simple but fine for what I need. I plan to book it again.
