  • Fall visit to the Upper Peninsula

Two couples spent 3 nights at the property. It was our first visit to the area. The location allowed short drives to Mackinac Island, Sault St. Marie, Tahquamenon State Park and other sights in the area. The house has plenty of room for the 4 adults. Relaxing on the front porch after a day of sightseeing was very pleasant. The spacious yard between the house and the lake would allow for children to have plenty of space to play. Driving directions were very clear. Be aware phone service can be spotty. There are limited grocery stores in the vicinity. Plan to do you shopping in some of the more populated towns that can be up to an hour away. House was very clean and in good condition.

  • Wonderfully Splendid, Relaxing, and Educational!!!

Overall, the cabins and grounds were amazing and it was central to many area attractions, making sightseeing of numerous areas possible. The only suggestion I would have is to find a way to combat the mildew/musty smell in the guest cabin, which affected allergies (if this is even possible). It was incredibly strong and overpowering during rainy periods. Otherwise, the cabins were very clean and well equipped, making our stay comfortable.
