Our family was very pleased with our choice to stay at Sint Nicolaashoeve and explore Holland for the first time. We stayed 4 nights here. Gerard was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had and made us feel welcome. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable and it was very nice having a kitchen. A washer and dryer available for use was a bonus. Our kids loved the trampoline, game room, bikes and pedal tractors available for them to use and would have been perfectly happy just hanging out at the farm our entire trip, but alas, we had all sorts of places to go explore! Saint Nicolaashoeve was a great hopping off point to utilize a park and ride to explore Amsterdam. The farm is very close to the Windmills at Aarlanderveen which was a favorite stop of ours. 40 minutes drive to the Muiderslot Castle in one direction and 40 minutes drive to Den Hague and Madurodam in the other. We would definitely choose to stay here again and would wholeheartedly recommend this for families with young kids.

  • Nice, quiet location. Fun to stay on a houseboat, better than a normal hotel!

The owner was very kind and informative when we arrived. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed for a few days. It was so nice to have juice, fruit, cheese and more. We especially appreciated some of the Dutch treats and plentiful coffee. The houseboat is very comfortable and spacious. It was nice to watch the activity on the canals at all times of day. The houseboat is also very clean and well kept. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend the Pride of Leiden.
