  • Chelsea cutest loft

An incredible location within a 10 minute walk from the MeatPacking District. We spent Thanksgiving in NY with our daughter. The cozy loft was perfect, our daughter slept on the large comfy sofa and we had the incredibly comfortably bed up stairs in the mezzanine level. Our host was very quick to respond to any questions and was gracious to allow us to leave our luggage in the loft during the day whilst we waited for our international flight. We will definitely return here.

  • A Wonderfully located Unique Modern Large Loft

We loved staying in this large unique space in NY. It's rare to find room to move about and totally enjoy your stay. There is almost total quiet from the noise of the busy street below. The thick walls of this beautiful well maintained antique bank must block most of the sounds for a really peaceful night's sleep. We heard no other neighbors either. It's on the top floor so no one is making noise above. This property has two floors with both bedrooms upstairs and even though the bedrooms are not within separate walls, they are divided enough to provide privacy. There is a large entertainment area between the two rooms with a large TV screen where we could relax and stream movies for the whole family. There are lots of channels on the 3 TVs and there is a large selection of movies to purchase as well. The kitchen has a full-size fridge with freezer with a handy washer and dryer for longer stays. The kitchen is well equipped for large as well as small meals. Downstairs windows give a view of nice trees and the sky. There is a balcony to enjoy the fresh air. It has a large shower area with a waterfall shower unit. Kitchen and dining area is nicely laid out with plenty of space for cooking and visiting. The heating unit is very efficient. The building feels secure with a friendly doorman and nice access by elevator to the third floor. Once on the street, Uber/ Lift drivers have plenty of space to pick you up for quick rides both to midtown and lower Manhatten which makes this property an ideal location for business and for pleasure trips. Subway is just on the corner. Chelsea shopping is all around with plenty of handy access to light groceries and other necessary home or pharmacy goods, for example, at the 24 hour CVS just across the street. The area is quite walkable and the new Museum of Illusions is on the first floor with Insomnia Cookies on the same block, open till 3:00 am. We were met by the owner's son who was very personable and even rescued us late Thanksgiving night when the building's access card reader froze with the extreme cold temperatures. He traveled to us and upon arrival called the doorman who kindly returned to let us in. We felt well taken care of and welcome. We recommend this for longer stays and for those who can climb steps since the bedrooms are on the second floor of the loft. An enjoyable and memorable stay.
