Our stay at Turner House was delightful. We were a party of 4 adults from the States and we found the house, albeit quirky in some respects, to be charming and sufficiently functional for most of our needs. The location is a bit out of the way and off the beaten tourist track, which was a big plus for us and we were never lacking in activities to keep us enthralled with this region of Norway. Although mostly fully equipped, we found the kitchen a bit challenging and it could be better organized and could do with a deep cleaning. We were pleased to have a functional washer AND dryer for our clothes, and we made use of the outdoor grill as well. When booking, we would suggest confirming the list of amenities with the host and being quite clear on the rooms available. We had booked the property because it was supposed to have 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, 2 of the bedrooms to have queen-size beds and one with an ensuite bath. However, some rooms were locked off and we only had one queen room and 1 and 1/2 baths for the 4 of us; one couple having to sleep in one of the two bedrooms with with twin beds. It worked out OK for us, but just something to keep in mind when booking. With the minor caveats noted, we would definitely recommend Turner House to our friends and mention again that the location was breathtaking.
