  • Fantastic Cabin

This place was/is really, really nice. Sporting a quaint, yet open floor plan, the cabin does a good job of accommodating more people than you think it would. I love the lofted bed area and keeping it separate from the living area is a great touch. Celesta is a wonderful host who was willing to work with my group who were participating at an event at Ohio University for accommodations. The location is perfect for a couple's/family get away beautifully situated in Amish country while still being only 35 min from Athens OH. 10/10 would stay there again. Note: Almost no cell coverage in the surrounding area so have directions printed or memorized before you get within 10 miles as my group (all carriers Verizon, ATT, Sprint, etc) lost service within that radius of the cabin. However the cabin does have Wifi so as long as you make it there you are fine. Can't recommend this enough and hope other people have the same experience that me and my group did while staying there.

Celeste and Lee, Thank you for sharing your inviting cabin with us for the week. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, super clean and cozy. It was so relaxing to rest, read, cook meals, and watch for wildlife. Take binoculars to see all the birds and wildlife! We stargazed and breathed fresh air. We ventured to Sarah Miller’s bakery (we just ate the last bite of her cinnamon rolls😀). Triple Nickel Diner in town is a must stop for a meal. We really didn’t want to leave. You’ve made a very beautiful and nicely furnished retreat with a view of rolling hills and woods. Thank you.
