  • Nice quiet and walkable Neighborhood

Thank you Larry for sharing your place with us! Great little place for 2 people, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The neighborhood was a bonus especially all the walkable restaurants. You must go to Oregon Public House on Dekum, which was the first not for profit restaurant giving their proceeds to organizations helping others and socially conscious. Tamale Boy was another gem! This was not a problem for us (actually a bonus), there was only 1 live TV station, the other stations were available on Apple TV which was "delay broadcasting". Netflix was a nice addition. Again, this was not a negative for us but just wanted to mention it. We actually loved being "disconnected" for a week! Thanks again Larry, will look forward to staying again!

  • Good place in a good location

Chic and modern is an accurate description. Apartment is one of four units in a new building located in an older neighborhood. The apt. has other units on two sides and above, has a walk-out entry at driveway, and is about 4 feet below grade on two back sides. Neighborhood is quiet and street parking in the same block was always available during our 5 day stay. Kitchen has toaster oven and hot plate but no oven/range. Bed is a firm foam mattress which we found very comfortable. Bedroom TV has a DVD player but no cable; other TV has cable. Nearby Alberta St is a hip and funky shopping and eating scene. Owner was quickly responsive to a couple of questions we had. Would stay here again.
