Right in the middle of the city. Not the cheapest place to stay, but well worth the money, plenty of amenities, appliances, nice beds, sheets, towels, wifi, close to everything you need. Friendly host that respects your privacy. Excellent housekeeping service.

Quinta S. Pedro was a lovely property, well equipped, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the large pool and the panoramic view of fields and hills from the balcony around it. Pedro's Mum, Maria, who was staying next door, was really friendly and helpful. We had great chats about life in Portugal and in Scotland and we learnt how to pronounce some of the Portuguese words we might need around town. The smell of lemons and other fruits grown on the land around the property was wonderful and Maria shared some of the produce with us. A very memorable holiday. Our son, aged 8 at the time, still talks about it 3 years on!! We would recommend the food at the '3 Pipos' (3 Barrels) restaurant in Tonda.
