  • A gem in the heart of Arta
    5 of 5

Our family, 2 adults and 4 children, spent 2 weeks in this truly original house in the center of town. Maria and Manolo have done a wonderful job making sure guests have all that they need. We loved being able to cool off in the small pool after a day of exploring and then walking a few minutes to the pedestrian zone for dinner. A truly unique place!

  • Quintessentially Arta and a real delight

We rented Hans-Peter and Marco's delightful townhouse for a week. Their local agent, Michael, was waiting for us on arrival and prior to booking Hans-Peter was efficient and helpful. The house is beautifully furnished and really is not a holiday rental - it is a home - and we enjoyed living there very much. The neighbours were friendly - including the dogs - and the beauty of the place is that it is right in the centre of the village but just away from the commercial streets so very quiet but a few minutes walk from warm bread, a beer beneath the plane trees, a choice of fab restaurants (Forn Nou rocks, Danny is a star) and whilst you need to park the car a little way away, the short stroll up to the car park gave us a window on village life. Arta is special and whilst yes, there are plenty of foreign guests - all very well behaved, Arta is still very Spanish. Our visit coincided with the Agricultural fair, which was really quite unique. The house has lovely terraces which at the top of the house give you a 360 degree view of Arta. Everything is provided and the place was spotless when we arrived. Loved it.
