This house is huge! It’s also very unique because it’s from 1300! We had a very good mechanic who took care of the few issues in the house.

We loved staying at this hill top hidden gem! It’s location had a very enjoyable breeze for most of the day during the exceptionally hot week in July we spent here. Sitting under the the vine on the terrace while waiting for dinner being prepared in the nearby kitchen was great. So was cooking at this place! The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of tools and nice plates and glass… and it’s next to the outdoor area, making it fun to chat while prepping the food. All the rooms are equally nice with decent mattresses. And the pingpong table in the former art studio was a great way for all us internet addicts to do some real gaming! Having no WIFI helped doing just that! Another great thing with this house is, you have a local village (Sant Pau) with a real lively main plaza area close by: there’s a bunch of places to get a local menu, coffee, breakfast or drinks at any time of the day and even a farmer’s market on some days. We picked up super fresh bread and croissants every morning at the bakery! There are many wineries close by you can visit to learn more about the good stuff - besides the Cava there’s a bunch of grapes you may not have tried before! Thank you for a great summer week!
