What you see in the photos is exactly what you get; a well furnished flat with plenty of room for 2 people. The kitchen is fully equipped including a one cup coffee maker (you can find the small coffee pods at any of the local grocery stores) and we used the stove, cooktop, fridge, etc. quite a bit. We also packed light knowing that we had the washing machine available and that worked well for us. The long corridor separating the living area from the bedroom is nice when your sleep patterns are disrupted from jetlag; one person can go read, fix a snack, etc. without disturbing the other one in the bedroom.
The rooftop terrace is wonderful - great view of the city, perfect for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. There's a mass of construction cranes in the distance, if all goes well in 10 years or so they will be replaced by the completed towers of Sagrada Familia. The location couldn't be better: a quiet street, nice neighborhood, just a couple of blocks to the metro station and the Aerobus drop off (which was a painless way to get to and from the airport). You are not in a tourist area so you a get a real feeling of being a "temporary local" - but you are just a few minutes by metro to Placa Catalunya and the major attractions.
Ana is a pleasure to deal with and her suggestion list was spot on. Her friend Lee checked us in and he is available by phone if you have any issues. We can't wait to go back to Barcelona and we would make a point of staying at this property.
